St. Theresa Catholic Church has a thriving community for young adults in which all are welcome. There are several opportunities each month to engage in spiritual growth, service for our community, and fellowship as a young adults community.
So much happens in a short period of time for us as young adults. Learning to navigate the workforce, making decisions about relationships or marriage, buying homes, raising children, etc. It’s important for God to be present in our lives through all of these milestones, and it helps to lean on a community of those experiencing similar situations to help keep God at the center of our lives.
To join our community of Young Adults, email young-adults@sttheresa.cc. We’d love to hear the types of activities you are interested in or answer any questions you may have about events. Additionally, please join our Young Adults GroupMe to stay updated on YA events and communications.
We have two types of ongoing Spiritual series to meet as a young adults community and grow together in our faith.
Young Adults Bringing Scripture to Life: Join the YAs on Thursday evenings for adoration, mass, faith sharing, and community! All are welcome to join for one or all parts of the evening.
5:30 pm – Adoration – Sanctuary
6:30 pm – Mass – Sanctuary
7:00 pm – Faith sharing – Narthex (focused discussion around the upcoming Sunday’s gospel reading)
Young Adults Spiritually Engaged: bi-monthly series on Saturday mornings. These sessions will explore different concepts to help you deepen your relationship with God.
Social events take place at least once a week. From our ongoing Faith to Fellowship gatherings in the Fellowship Hall after the Sunday evening mass, to game nights, sports events, or other casual gatherings. Join our Young Adults GroupMe to learn more, and feel free to join us any time!
Service events take place at least once a month to support our parish and our community. Different activities take place to support organizations like St. Vincent de Paul, Christian Community Services Center (CCSC), and Casa de Esperanza de Los Ninos. We also encourage young adults to take part in liturgical ministries and support parish events. Join our Young Adults GroupMe to learn more!
