      SAINT THERESA WOMEN'S CLUB INVITES ALL WOMEN OF THE PARISH
             TO SERVE IN THE EXAMPLE OF SAINT THERESE OF LISIEUX





The Saint Theresa Women’s Club has  meetings on the second Thursday of each month beginning   in September through May.

NOVEMBER  8, 2018
in the Fellowship Hall
from 6:30 pm - 7:30pm. 












All women of the parish are asked to consider becoming a part of this worthwhile organization. The annual Women’s Club Membership Drive is held in November. Dues are $20.00 annually and the money raised provides all supplies for the altar including altar breads, wine, candles, towels and linens.

Women's Club Happenings from the President

Date October 23, 2018:

Dear Members,
Passing     Longtime parishioner Mary Ellen Kruger died this Tuesday, October 16th at age 95. Her Funeral Mass will be at Saint Michael's Church on Thursday, October 25th at 10:00 am with Father Phil officiating. Burial will be at a later time - her body is being cremated, Eternal Rest Grant Unto Her O Lord.

November 17th at 6:30 pm - 8:00pm Spaghetti Dinner
The Women's Club will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on November 17th at 6:30pm immediately after the Saturday 5:30 pm Mass. This event usually is our biggest fundraiser after the membership drive. We need assistance with prep work, cooking, serving and cleaning. The meal will consist of delicious spaghetti with red meat sauce, salad, bread, dessert and dancing entertainment. You can bring your own wine. We also have to go orders available. If you would like to volunteer or donate for the dinner please let me or one of the officers know. Please make sure to buy a ticket and invite friends for a nice meal. I have tickets if you would like to purchase them after Mass on Sunday or through one of the Women's Club Members.

Dear Members,

What a great Feast Day Celebration we had for St. Theresa's Church last Sunday - from the bilingual Mass, to the St. Pius reenacters, to the Mariachi Music and Singing, food, fun and games! Thank you to all the members who shared desserts with us. (I'm sorry if I didn't list you all.)

Special Thanks to Juliette Listi, Gilda Trostmann, Margaret Tusa, Dorothy Urbanovsky and the Knights of Columbus for helping serve 400 burgers and hotdogs with sides, drinks and desserts to our hungry congregation.  

Thanks  to Mariella Diaz for hosting a crafts table - please see a few pics I was able to snap.

We will be having our monthly meeting on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 6:30 in the Lounge of the Fellowship Hall.  If you want to pay the $20 membership dues, please drop them off at the church office or to one of the group officiers along with your information.

We have postphoned the October St. Dominic Birthday Bingo until 2019, due to their scheduling conflicts.

St. Dominic Village is  a senior care community, 2401E. Holcombe Blvd, TX 77021.
The Women's Club will bring a little cheer to this community by hosting a Birthday Bingo. We will provide light desserts and punch and bring small prize giveaways. If you are interested in volunteering providing prizes or goodies, please let us know.)

We will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser in November. Please check your bulletins for the actual date and plan to join us.
