Here at St. Theresa Catholic School in Memorial Park,
our students participate in a wide variety of
service projects intended not only to aid those in need,
but to inculcate virtues of social responsibility,
stewardship, and charitable love of neighbor
into the childs daily life. From Pre-K holiday greeting
cards to 4th grade's help for neglected animals.JPG)

Athletics
St. Theresa athletics is a growing part of our school.
We offer a wide variety of sports for every season,
everything from soccer and volleyball to baseball and
track. Cheering leading is also part of the Junior High
program for the seventh and eighth grade. Fifth though
eighth grade students are allowed to participate. Our
coaches are focused on instituting values and good
sportsmanship while teaching the rules and proper
techniques.
Also our athletic program is very fortunate
to have a hard-working and dedicated booster club that
helps purchase new uniforms and support the overall
progress of our athletes. Come support St. Theresa
Athletics and GO VIKINGS!

Forensic Speaking, Prep Bowl (trivia); Spanish Forensic

Music
Pre K 3, Pre K 4 and Kindergarten

Students are introduced to music through song and movement. Singing, listening and playing simple rhythm instruments are used in exploring the musical world. Students begin to learn memorization techniques.
First and Second Grades
Singing and playing simple rhythm instruments are an integral part of the music program. Students are introduced to melody, harmony and rhythm through song and game. Students begin to learn music notes and symbols.
Third Grade
Students learn how to play the recorder wind instrument. They are taught how to read music more fluently. Students will participate in at least one performance during the school year.
Fourth through Eighth Grade
Singing and playing rhythm instruments are used to help students learn the language of music. Students are taught how to read notes and rhythms. Through music listening, students learn about different time periods and cultures.
Band is also offered for students in fourth through eighth grades.
