MOCK TRIAL - In this fall extracurricular activity, 8th Grade students assume the roles of prosecution and defense attorneys, plaintiff, judge, witnesses, and their courtroom figures to simulate the processing of a fictional lower court case. Key participants are coached by members of the Houston Bar Association and local law students for six weeks before the case is “tried” in an actual courtroom. Our 7th Grade students serve as the jury panel.

WASHINGTON DC TRIP - Our 8th grade students travel to Washington DC each spring for four intense days of touring national museums, monuments, government buildings, and historic sites. In past years, classes have opted to also include excursions to other historically relevant cities, such as Philadelphia and New York.

TEXAS TREK - In spring 2009, our 7th grade revived a St. Theresa tradition by taking a three day Texas history trip. From our “home base” accommodations at the T Bar M resort in New Braunfels, the class visited Fannin, Gonzales, Goliad, Austin, and San Antonio where speakers, guides, docents, and re-enactors made Texas history come to life.

DANCES - Several times a year, Friday night dances are held for our Middle School students and their guests. Pizza, prizes, professional photos, and music provided by a live deejay have made these fun-filled social events.
