The Saint Theresa Women’s Club has its meeting on the second Thursday of each month beginning in September through May. The meetings are held in Room 202 & 203 of the Community Center. A dinner is shared with Club Members and the Knights of Columbus who have a meeting on the same night.
Everyone brings a designated dish and the meal begins about 6:30 p.m. followed by the business meeting at 7:00 p.m. All women of the parish are asked to consider becoming a part of this worthwhile organization. The annual Women’s Club Membership Drive is held in November. Dues are $10.00 annually and the money raised provides all supplies for the altar including altar breads, wine, candles, towels and linens.
Members also help with many parish activities when called on by the pastor such as bereavement dinners at the request of a parishioner’s family or receptions for clergy celebrations. The Women’s Club keeps a current directory of its members which gives them a telephone web to notify deaths of recent parishioners, make requests for cakes that are needed for celebrations and gives quick communication regarding the scheduling of Church functions. Each week members clean the altar and sacristy. A number of members volunteer to pick up the linens and towels from the sacristy each week as well as launder, iron and make sure there are ample linens for all the Masses. Consider joining us in our efforts to support the many services of Saint Theresa Church. Presently, Pat Lero has accepted the role of Sacristan as well as Joanie Hughes. Their assessment of altar needs gives us direction for needed funds.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Women’s Club is in need of volunteers to help with activities. Consider helping in any way you can and contact an officer to volunteer. Once a week members straighten the books in the pews, remove debris from the pew shelves, clean the holy water fonts and replace them with clean water, make sure there is plenty holy water in the water holder, dust the altar area and sanctuary furniture. Preferably this is done with a partner on Friday at any time of your choice. Most volunteers check with Pat Lero and take one month for the year. The Knights of Columbus have begun a quarterly cleaning of the Church this past December, so a thorough job of cleaning the kneelers, polishing the pews, repairing kneelers and major problems will be handled. The Women's Club is invited to join them on these Saturday morning projects, usually before a seasonal event - Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving and "Summer".

St. Theresa Fall Festival Family Fun and Games

The event was held in the Community Center starting at 11:00 am. with a Chicken Fried Chicken Dinner. A Silent Auction and a Mini Raffle items were there to bid on, while tables were arranged to visit and play cards with friends. Children were invited outside for games, clowns, prizes and hot dogs. The Festival ended by 4:30 to clean-up and arrange the room before the 5:30 pm Mass.
The Women's Club made a net profit of $7,791.42 on the first St. Theresa Fall Festival Family Fun and games on October 25, 2010.
