Building a Better Community Through Golf Since 1997
Thirteen years ago "Friends" of St. Theresa created the St. Theresa Golf Tournament. Lead by the interest and direction of Dick Kruger who was serving on the Church Finance Committee, the objective of a Golf Tournament was to help St. Theresa raise money to support the ever increasing needs of the community and primarily to assist in the payment of the Community Building. Six years ago the new mission changed to help the students of St. Theresa School. Their school needed many of the tools that would enable them to compete in today’s environment. The Saint Theresa Golf Tournament has succeeded in assisting the pay-off of the Community Building debt and has provided funds for upgrading the school library and the purchasing of internet and computer equipment.

Through the overwhelming generosity of our sponsors, players and auction bidders many of our objectives have been realized. We were able to acquire PC’s for most classrooms, wire the school for internet and e-mail access and purchase reference materials for the library. However, our work is not finished. We still need several more PC’s and other equally important items to assist these students in preparing themselves for the demands of today.
Once again, the "Friends" will host the 13th Annual Dick Kruger "Friends of St. Theresa" Golf Tournament at Memorial Park on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Proceeds will help to complete our mission with the following objectives:
• Continual upgrade of library books to maintain accreditation standards
• Improvements in the level of technology used in the classrooms
• Purchase and/or replacement of software and projection equipment
• Modernization of our Early Childhood Classrooms
The students of St. Theresa School need your support to help them prepare themselves for the future. We hope you will consider this effort worthwhile and join the "Friends" for a day of golfing fun, generous auction and great food.
