"Liturgy is the summit towards which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time, it is the fount from which all her power flows." (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy)
To celebrate liturgy is to worship God. Doing so requires planning, preparation and a servant’s heart. According to the Second Vatican Council, the Church desires that "all the faithful be led to...full, conscious, and active participation in liturgical celebrations."
Our parish offers numerous opportunities for liturgical ministry. We invite you to share your gifts and talents for the glory of God in the Sunday and weekday liturgical celebrations, on holy days, at weddings, funerals and reconciliation services.
Liturgy is defined as "the people's work of praising God". The Sunday celebration of the Eucharist is the focal point or the "summit and fount" of our lives as Catholics. Our parish offers us various ways to serve at the table of God’s Word and Eucharistic.
